The GE Newer Design Front-Serviceable Washer and Dryer has been on the market for many years as the replacement for the original GE/Hotpoint laundry product many technicians are familiar with. This replacement design is completely different from the original model. This video covers the air flow patterns of the front serviceable dryer model, how to use meters to test specific components in both the gas and electric models, and how

to disassemble the dryer when replacing the belt, motor and blower assembly, and electrical operating components.
